Consul General accompanied by Vice Consul, attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment (SRIE) and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China on 11 May 2019 at the Xi’an Qujiang International Conference Center. During the 5-day Exposition, several side-line events were held, including the 4th Silk Road Education Cooperation Forum on 11 May 2019, Sharing Silk Road's Opportunities, Creating Brighter Future of Western China – Xi’an Investment Environment Promotion Conference and Key Projects Signing Ceremony on 12 May 2019, Cluster of Belt and Road (B&R) Pavilions Launching Ceremony on 13 May 2019, The Starting Point of the Silk Road- Hanzhong Foreign Investment Cooperation Conference on 13 May 2019 and Special Promotion Meeting of Tongchuan Industrial Technology Institute and China (Tongchuan) Commercial Space City on 14 May 2019.
Members of Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (MAYCHAM China) Xi’an Chapter attended some of the above events which were also participated by Malaysian officials and participants from Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia – China Business Council (MCBC), Malaysia Youth Council, Malaysia-China Friendship Association (PPMC), and the Association of Belt and Road Malaysia.
