Amb. Zahid presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Sergio Mattarella, the President of the Italian Republic on 16 Nov 2023.
Amb. Zahid was accompanied by his spouse, Madam Syeila Omar, Mr. Ahmad Fuad, Mr. Abdul Rahman and Mr. Jason Low of the Malaysian Embassy in Rome.
Amb. Zahid was accorded a private audience with President Mattarella where they discussed history, culture, trade, investment, and the overall strengthening of Malaysia-Italy bilateral relations.
