Consul General visited Ankang City on 14-16 June 2018 at the invitation of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province. Consul General attended the opening ceremony of the Ankang Han River Dragon Boat Festival and visited the Ankang National High-Tech Zone and the ecological tea garden in Changan Town, Pingli County.
Consul General and his ASEAN colleagues also called on Mdm. Zhao Quanping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ankang City CPC Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of the Municipal Government. On 15 June 2018, the delegation joined the Ankang Municipal Government leaders, the Ankang Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Culture and Broadcasting Bureau, the Municipal Tourism Development Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other responsible persons in Ankang City at a forum held in the Government conference room. The ASEAN Consuls-General also actively exchanged views and interacted with the local representatives from the government during the visit.
