1ST CONTINGENT TO WORLD WAR ONE (WW1) COMMEMORATION SERVICE

On 31st December 2014, CDA a.i attended the Commemoration Service of the 1st Contingent to World War One from Fiji in 1914 (100 years ago). The commemoration service was tribute to serviceman and woman who paid the ultimate sacrifice, those that survived and those affected by the war. Silence was observed as the names of the 124 brave soldiers who were part of Fiji's First Contingent to World War One was called out during the roll call at the National War memorial Site in Suva.
