Malaysia participated in the 33rd Technical Committee Meeting of the Center on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) held on 16 – 20 April 2018 at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, Fiji.
The meeting was also attended by senior development practioners and experts from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Iran, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
CIRDAP was established in 1979 at the initiative of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region and the Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to meet the felt needs of the developing countries for promoting integrated rural development in the region. Fiji is the only country from the Pacific that is member of CIRDAP.
