The Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Fiji, Encik Nor’Azam Mohd Idrus hosted a Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Reception at the Malaysian Residence on Saturday, 15th September 2012 from 1200 hours to 1530 hours. About 100 invited guests attended the event. The Reception was held on a Saturday to enable working Malaysians to attend as most work on weekdays.

The event was celebrated in a simple yet joyous atmosphere and all guests enjoyed the afternoon sampling from the wide array of Malaysian Hari Raya cuisine such as Nasi Impit, Pulut Lemang, Chicken/Beef Satay, Peanut Sauce, Beef Rendang, Chicken Curry and Fried Meehon. Apart from the main dishes, guests were also treated to delicious Hari Raya cookies, Kuih Bakar, Kuih Gula Melaka, Kuih Kaswi, Kuih Ketayap, Bingka Jagung, Kuih Mochi, Kuih Apam Marble and Kuih Ang Ku.
