On 18 June 2024, H.E. High Commissioner Nor' Azam Mohd Idrus (“TYT”) engaged with Dr. Sudip Ranjan Basu, Deputy Head, Subregional Office for the Pacific at United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). Their discussion encompassed, among others, the Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (PFSD), Asia-Pacific Business Forum, United Nations Global Compact, and the presence of Malaysian-owned companies in Fiji such as Carpenters. TYT extended his best wishes to Dr. Sudip Ranjan Basu who would soon be moving to his subsequent duty station in Bangkok.
