On 25 July 2024, H.E. High Commissioner Nor' Azam Mohd Idrus (“TYT”) had a meeting with Mr. Josefa Tuima, Director of the Asia Bureau (“Director”) and his team at the Grand Pacific Hotel. The discussion centered on the long-standing rich historical Malaysia-Fiji bilateral relations and explored steps to further strengthen ties across all areas. Both also expressed interest in community facing work, referencing the impactful February 2024 event in Kalekana where Assistant Minister for the Office of the Prime Minister Hon. Sakiusa Tubuna led a tree planting exercise among other activities.
