On 15 June 2024, His Excellency High Commissioner Nor' Azam Mohd Idrus participated in a 5-kilometer fun walk in Suva organized by Indonesian Embassy Suva - Fiji. The event also included participants from the Diplomatic Corps, representatives from the Government of Fiji, and alumni, students, families, and friends of the Indonesian Scholarships for Fiji. That walk was part of a series of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Fiji. Starting at Albert Park, the route followed Queen Elizabeth Drive to the Suva Grammar School roundabout and then returned the same way.
