200220: The High Commissioner H.E. Ilham Tuah Illias hosted a luncheon for a team of 30 from Malindo. Malindo Air is currently on a wet-lease arrangement with Fiji Airways servicing Nadi-Brisbane and Nadi-Christchurch routes. A 30-crew members will be in Fiji at one time on a 2-month rotational basis. They have been operating in Fiji since October 2019 and will end their contract in Fiji in March 2020. The crew comprises of pilots, stewardess, technicians and engineers. The Malindo team is based in Nadi and they drove 4 hours to Suva to get to Rumah Malaysia. The crew really enjoyed the dishes since they have been missing Malaysian food for months.
