The High Commission of in Suva attended an online briefing on the low carbon initiatives in the context of the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) technologies on 16 October 2024. In line with commitment to addressing climate change and achieving its long-term low-carbon aspirations, the NETR is a strategic blueprint to facilitate the country’s shift towards a more sustainable energy landscape. Central to these efforts is integrating CCUS technologies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions while ensuring energy security.
