H.E. High Commissioner Nor’ Azam Mohd Idrus (“TYT”) engaged with Mr. Muhammed Shamim Ali, Executive Education officer of the Fiji Muslim League (“FML”) at the Coffee Hub on 16 February 2024. The Halal Industry was one of their main topics of conversation. TYT also graciously accepted the FML invitation to deliver the closing remarks as chief guest during the Intergenerational Muslim Leadership Camp on 25 February 2024. The purpose of that camp is to facilitate an exchange of experiences among reunited Muslim youth leaders who served between 1965 and 1985 with the next generation of Muslim youths. This would empower younger leaders to assume leadership roles and guide their communities towards excellence in the years to come. Both expressed appreciation for the engagement. TYT welcomed intensifying the already strong existing engagements with FML.
