On 31 July 2025, H.E. High Commissioner Nor’ Azam Mohd Idrus engaged with Mr. Apisai Rinamalo, Deputy Conservator of Forests; and Mr. Aporosa Livani, Reforestation Manager. Those two from the Ministry of Forestry, Fiji expressed strong interest in the MTCP - Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme. They are both also Universiti Malaysia Sabah alumni.
