THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF LAUTOKA MUSLIM PRIMARY SCHOOL BY FIJI MUSLIM LEAGUE

The re-opening Lautoka Muslim Primary School which is located in the centre town of Lautoka, Nadi will benefit the new generations from Fiji. The Lautoka Muslim Primary School was established in the year 1946 and had been operates by Fiji Muslim League under jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. The school had caught with fire and cause about 500 students lost the place for their educations. The Government of Fiji through Ministry of Education of Fiji had provided a grant of FJD200,000.00 for the reconstruction of the school buildings. The other fund was came from Islamic Development Bank In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia that contribute the amount of USD250,000.00 towards the reconstruction of the building. The newly school building has been completed in July 2012 and successfully launching by Prime Minister of Fiji on 16 July 2012 witnessed by Fiji Muslim League’s members and Head of Missions including Malaysia.
