190822: H.E. High Commissioner & the team at the High Commission Suva warmly welcomed the newly arrived First Secretary. Prior to the customary Fijian Kava Ceremony, H.E. High Commissioner, in his welcoming remarks, expressed confidence that continuity in the close cooperation between all members of our tightly knit workplace community would positively impact the operations of the High Commission. In addition to showing reverence for Fijian traditions, the significance of the Kava Ceremony itself ties in neatly with the message delivered by H.E. High Commissioner. Fittingly, the completion of the said Ceremony marks the momentous occasion of unity between all present at the welcoming ritual.
