The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Malaysia paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Simon Madjie, on 1 July 2025 at his office.
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and facilitating Malaysian investments in Ghana. Both sides also exchanged views on potential collaboration with Malaysian companies that have expressed interest in exploring opportunities in Ghana.
The meeting included follow-ups on the proposed MoU between GIPC and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), as well as plans to organise an online engagement with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA).
