On 10 February 2025, Honourable Gloria Owusu, Member of Parliament for Trobu Constituency, led a delegation to the High Commission of Malaysia in Accra. The visit aimed to foster collaboration between Ghana and Malaysia, focusing on youth development, education, and vocational training.
Key discussions included potential partnerships in education, vocational training, women empowerment, and agribusiness, particularly in palm oil agriculture. The CDA a.i. expressed Malaysia's commitment to enhancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs and noted the increasing number of Ghanaian students studying in Malaysia.
