On 30 August, 2024, the High Commission of Malaysia in Accra (STM Accra) hosted the Malaysia Open Day to inform the public about its services and facilities while promoting Malaysia within the local community. The event offered an opportunity for visitors to explore Malaysia's diverse culture and gain insight into the offerings of STM Accra.
The Malaysia Open Day 2024 included four specialized booths, providing information on consular services, trade and investment, culture and cuisine, education, and tourism. More than 250 people attended the morning and afternoon sessions.
Perwakilan Accra also participated by showcasing how to prepare traditional Malaysian dishes, Roti Jala and Ais Batu Kacang (ABC), at the culture and cuisine booth.
