On 20 January 2026, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the High Commission of Malaysia in Accra paid a courtesy call on Mrs Nana Kraah Ansah-Adjei, Director of the Economic, Trade and Investment Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.The introductory meeting provided a valuable platform to strengthen bilateral engagement in economic, trade and investment cooperation, with discussions covering agriculture and sustainable palm oil (CPOPC), the halal economy and MIHAS, Islamic finance and non-interest banking, as well as upcoming engagements including the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) visit to Ghana.Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships between Malaysia and Ghana.
