The High Commission received and welcomed a delegation from the Malaysian Cocoa Board headed by Puan Maznah Abdul, Deputy Director General (Operation) on 20 March 2024. The delegation consisted of five members from the Ministry of Plantation and Commodity (Cocoa) and the Department of Agriculture.
Afterwards, the delegates went to the Cocobod of Ghana for a meeting and were joined by the CDA a.i. The meeting discussed areas of cooperation, the development of the cocoa industry in both countries, and sharing of information.The Malaysian Cocoa Board also invited the Cocobod of Ghana to participate for next year Malaysian International Cocoa Fair 2025 from 7-11 May 2025 at Sabah international Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
