On 20 May 2025, H.E. Sarah co-chaired the ASEAN-UN Interface alongside H.E. Khaled Khiari, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and Peace Operations. Discussions focused on enhancing the ASEAN-UN Comprehensive Partnership, addressing regional stability, global priorities, and common concerns. The Interface was productive, fostering warm welcomes from the CPR to the UN delegation. Both sides look forward to finalising the ASEAN-UN Plan of Action 2026–2030, strengthening collaboration on shared objectives.
