For the month of April, it was the turn of Malaysia to host the ACR monthly luncheon. Ambassador Datin Paduka Halimah Abdullah hosted the lunch at her residence with the participation of Ambassadors from ASEAN countries as guests. Madame Luisa Todini, President of Comitato Leonardo was the guest-of-honor during the ACR luncheon.
Comitatao Leonardo was established in 1993 by the Italian Manufacturing Association (Confindustria) and the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE) which consists of group of Italian entrepreneurs, professional, traders and artists aimed at promoting Italian excellences overseas. Amongst the members of Leonardo Comitato included the big brand names companies in sectors of fashion, furnitures, manufacturing, motor vehicles, machineries etc. These included brand names such as Armani Group, Benetton Group, Ducati Energia, Geox, Finmeccanica etc.
The luncheon hosted gave an opportunity for the ASEAN Heads of Mission to discuss and exchange of information and views with the President of Comitato Leonardo on possible future cooperation between business companies in the Comitato Leonardo with private sectors in ASEAN countries.
