34 Malaysian students, aged 6–19, proudly represented Malaysia at the World Finals of the Hippo English Language Olympiad 2025, held from 29 September to 2 October in Assisi, Italy. Malaysian students emerged as champions in categories S2 and S3, and also won the side contests, ‘The Italian Way’ and the ‘MISSERI Animation Challenge’ — an outstanding achievement among the 93,265 participants from 2,034 schools across 70 countries.
Ms. Nidyakala Manian, First Secretary, attended the event on 1 October, to support the Malaysian delegation consisting of students, parents, and coordinators. The Embassy extends its heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners for making Malaysia proud on the global stage!
