27 August 2025 – H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, attended the 326th ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Meeting, chaired by H.E. Soe Han, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Japan. The Meeting discussed current geopolitical developments, as well as preparations for upcoming ACT-related activities and events.
The Meeting was further honoured by the presence of Mr. Takashi Arikawa, Executive Director of the Nippon Foundation, who engaged in a fruitful exchange of views with the ASEAN Ambassadors on enhancing ASEAN-Japan collaboration across a wide range of areas.
The ACT reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening ASEAN-Japan relations and to pursuing joint efforts that contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
