ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) 2010 Bowling Tournament
The Embassy of Malaysia participated at the annual ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Bowling tournament held at Shinagawa Prince Bowling Center, Tokyo on 24 July 2010. The seven-member team comprised HE Datuk Shaharuddin Md Som, Ahmad Rozian, Dzulkafli Sharif, Roslina Mat Dom, Corporal Tarmizi Md Nooh, Jeffery Yahya and Muhammad Riza.
All ten ASEAN Embassies in Tokyo took part in the tournament together with guest players from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The tournament was played over three games.
Dzulkafli Sharif played a consistent bowling amassing a high total score of 544 to emerge champion of the Men’s Individual event. He also won the first Turkey prize. The Malaysian team also played well for a podium finish at third place. The Philippines team emerged as champion at this year’s tournament with the Singapore team coming in second.
