H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, and Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission, together with an official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, represented Malaysia at the Working-level Meeting of the Conference on Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD) held in Tokyo on 10 March 2026.
Co-hosted by Japan and Palestine, the meeting brought together CEAPAD partners to exchange views on strengthening cooperation and supporting international efforts towards the reconstruction and development of Gaza, including through capacity building and technical cooperation.
Malaysia remains committed to working with regional and international partners under the CEAPAD framework in support of Palestinian development and institution-building.
