Gong Xi Fa Cai!
The Embassy of Malaysia, Tokyo marked the Chinese New Year with a joyful celebration on 27 February 2026, bringing together friends and partners in the spirit of harmony and prosperity.
The evening was graced by the presence of H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan and featured a lively lion dance performance as well as the traditional yee sang tossing, symbolising prosperity, unity and good fortune for the year ahead.
