22 March 2023 – The Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, received a courtesy call by his counterpart in Malaysia, H.E. Takahashi Katsuhiko, Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, today. Both Ambassadors had a fruitful discussion pertaining to bilateral relations, current geo-political developments as well as preparation for the Commemorative Summit for 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, which will be held in December 2023.
During the call, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Shahril thanked H.E. Ambassador Takahashi for his active role and close cooperation especially in strengthening Malaysia-Japan relations and looked forward to further collaboration in the future.
The meeting of the two Ambassadors will contribute to the enhancement of the already excellent relations between Malaysia and Japan.
