13 December 2024 – H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Rozian Abd. Ghani, Deputy Secretary General (Bilateral Affairs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. MIYAJI Takuma, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. He was accompanied by H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, and officials from the East Asia Division of the Ministry. The meeting was held in conjunction with the 1st Malaysia-Japan Strategic Dialogue.
During the meeting, H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Rozian reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to fostering stronger bilateral ties and advancing regional cooperation with Japan. H.E. Dato’ Rozian also highlighted Malaysia’s priorities as the incoming ASEAN Chair in 2025.
