20 November 2025 – Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy, received a courtesy call by Ms. Wong Sook Wei, a Malaysian visiting research fellow undergoing a short-term fellowship programme for Young Overseas Research Fellowship at the Japan Institute of International Affairs JIIA).
During the call, both of them also exchanged views on the geopolitical landscape in Southeast Asia and East Asia, as well as Malaysia-Japan relations. The Embassy would like thank Ms. Wong Sook Wei for taking the time to share her insights on her research paper.
