10 December 2025 – A delegation of officials from the Aomori Prefectural Government paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, where they were received by Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission. The visit provided an opportunity for the Aomori Prefectural Government to showcase its renowned apples, being the largest apple-producing prefecture in Japan.
During the visit, both sides exchanged views on agricultural products from Malaysia and Japan that have strong potential for export. The Embassy extends its appreciation to the officials from Aomori Prefecture for their visit.
