27 August 2024 – Mr. Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, Japan, witnessed the MoU Renewal Signing Ceremony between Majlis Belia Negeri, Negeri Sembilan (MBNNS) and the Tochigi Seinen Kaikan Foundation (Tochigi Youth Association) on Cooperation and Friendship. Also present at the event was H.E. Tomikazu Fukuda, Governor of Tochigi Prefecture.
The two organisations have a long-standing cooperation and relations, beginning with the signing of the MoU on 19 June 1988 in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Over the past 36 years, this program has promoted exchanges and fostered mutual understanding and friendship between youths and youth leaders of Malaysia and Japan; broadening their perspectives in promoting global peace that transcend national borders. The Embassy congratulates MBNNS and the Tochigi Seinen Kaikan Foundation on this significant achievement.
