PUBLIC DIPLOMACY PROGRAM
WITH
THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS STUDENT OF
THE UNIVERSITY OF SABAH

The Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo held a Public Diplomacy Program for 15 visiting students from the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on 16 April 2012. The UMS delegation which consists of the final year students from the International Relations Program, was on a study trip to Japan from 13 to 21 April 2012. The group was briefed by the First Secretary of the Embassy on the role of the Embassy of Malaysia as well as the current bilateral relations between Malaysia and Japan. In addition, the Second Secretary, Human Resource Development of the Embassy also gave a briefing on the Look East Policy Program as well as its future direction in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of the Look East Policy in 2012.
