20 November 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia welcomed 30 students and teachers from the First Commercial High School for a Public Diplomacy Programme. The visit involved students from the school’s History and Biology streams, offering them a valuable opportunity to broaden their understanding of Malaysia from cultural, historical, and academic perspectives.

During the programme, the Embassy delivered a comprehensive briefing on Malaysia’s multicultural society, the history of the formation of Malaysia, and the higher education opportunities available to international students. The participants also engaged in an interactive Q&A session and experienced a Batu Seremban activity, which further enriched their appreciation of Malaysia’s cultural heritage and supported meaningful cross-cultural interaction.

The visit contributed significantly to the Embassy’s public diplomacy efforts by strengthening people-to-people connections and encouraging greater interest among Japanese youth in Malaysia’s culture, education landscape, and bilateral relations with Japan. The Embassy looks forward to expanding such engagements with educational institutions to promote deeper mutual understanding and collaboration.
