25 August 2025 – A group of young learners from Hana House, aged between 5 and 16 years old, visited the Embassy for an educational programme designed to introduce Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage, traditions, and values.
During the visit, Mr. Jeffry Meyer, First Secretary (Information & Public Relations), welcomed the students and gave a brief overview of Malaysia’s history, geography, and cultural diversity. The students engaged in interactive sessions, learning about traditional Malaysian costumes, music, and cuisine. They also had the opportunity to watch Mechamato video soundtrack, a Malaysian anime that is gaining popularity in Japan, and to learn about traditional Malaysian children’s games.
The programme concluded with a lively question and answer session, where students expressed their curiosity about Malaysia’s festivals, wildlife, and local customs. The Embassy hopes that such initiatives will foster cross-cultural understanding and inspire young learners to develop a lasting interest in Malaysia’s heritage.
