27 December 2024 – The Embassy of Malaysia Club (EOMC) organised the Year-End Reception 2024 to celebrate the achievements and milestones of 2024 while fostering camaraderie among the Embassy’s Home-based Staff (HBS) and Locally-recruited Staff (LRS).
The event featured a variety of activities, including games, the exchange of gifts, and the Bounenkai (Year-end) Bowling Tournament gift presentation ceremony. In his opening remarks, H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, expressed his gratitude to the Embassy staff for their dedication and teamwork throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving shared goals.
As the evening concluded, attendees reflected on the accomplishments of 2024 and looked forward to the opportunities and challenges of the upcoming year. The reception symbolised the spirit of unity and resilience within the Embassy community, setting a positive tone for 2025.
