Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah warmly welcomed H.E. Piyapin Niyomyerks, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Kazakhstan, who has taken over the role from Ambassador Chatchawan Sakornsin.
During their discussion, both Ambassadors engaged in fruitful deliberations, exchanging views on potential areas of cooperation between their countries and Kazakhstan. Key topics included enhancing trade and tourism as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration through the ASEAN platform and under the auspices of the ASEAN Committee in Astana (ACA). Thailand currently holds the chairmanship of ACA.
Ambassador Piyapin Niyomyerks previously served as Minister at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur prior to taking up her post in Kazakhstan.
