On 27 September 2025, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah and Madam Intan Zurina Dollah attended a farewell dinner hosted by H.E. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand and spouse, in honour of the outgoing H.E. Phạm Thái Như Mai, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The dinner was also attended by H.E. Mochamad Fadjroel Rachman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and spouse.
H.E. Phạm Thái Như Mai was appointed in 2022 as Ambassador of Vietnam to Kazakhstan. Over the past three years, she has worked actively to strengthen Vietnam–Kazakhstan relations and was also a dedicated member of the ASEAN Committee in Astana (ACA), supporting ASEAN’s visibility and cooperation with Kazakhstan.
The evening served as a testament to the enduring unity of the ASEAN diplomatic corps in Astana, marked by strong camaraderie across diverse cultures and nations.
