On 5 March 2026, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah signed the Book of Condolence at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Astana following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, His Highness Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli was received by H.E. Ambassador Ali Akbar Jokar, together with other officers of the Embassy.
His Highness Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei's tragic death represents a profound loss for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the wider Muslim ummah, and it comes at a time of deep concern for peace, stability and security in the Middle East.
May Allah S.W.T. grant his noble soul His infinite mercy and admit him into jannah, and may Allah S.W.T. bestow patience, strength and fortitude upon his family and the resilient people of Iran during this difficult time.
