On 21 April 2026, H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah held a courtesy meeting with a delegation from i-Putra UPM, led by its Director, Prof. Dr. Alyani Ismail, in Almaty. H.E. Ambassador is in Almaty from 21–24 April 2026 to attend the Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair.
The meeting with i-Putra was among the sideline engagements, focusing on exploring collaboration in higher education and strengthening academic linkages between Malaysia and Kazakhstan.
