For the second time, the Malaysian Embassy in Almaty organized a Malaysian Food Fair at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Almaty. The Food Fair was held in conjunction with the launching of the direct flight by Air Astana for the sector Almaty-Kuala Lumpur. The Food Fair was held from 29 October to 6 November, serving traditional Malaysian cuisine prepared by two chefs from Hyatt Kota Kinabalu. The Malaysian Food Fair was graced with cultural performances by a dance troupe from Kuala Lumpur.
According to Hyatt Regency Almaty, more than 350 guests turned up during the Malaysian Food Fair. The Malaysian Food Fair was the initiative of the Malaysian Embassy, Tourism Malaysia, Air Astana and Hyatt Regency Hotel.
