On 22 September 2018, the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana has successfully hosted a Bowling Get-Together Session with the Alumni of Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) at Duman Center, Astana. The objective of the get-together was to strengthen networking and establish closer relations between Embassy official and former Kazakh MTCP participants.
The event started with welcoming remarks from Ambassador Syed Bakri, followed by bowling session. Ambassador Syed Bakri welcomed everyone and thanked Alumni MTCP for attending the event. He also informed them that the Embassy would establish a Whatsapp Group for MTCP Alumni for easier and faster communication in the future. Ambassador also invited and welcome Alumni to share opinions, ideas on any projects of proposals to enhance bilateral relation especially in the field of trade and investment, tourism etc between Malaysia and Kazakhstan.
The bowling get-together was to add variety to MTCP Alumni get-together. Last year's MTCP gathering was held at the Official Residence. The bowling session was a casual event that gave the opportunity for the participants to relax and catch a break from their normal schedule.
MTCP Alumni guest congratulated and expressed their appreciation to the Embassy for organizing this wonderful event and they hope to continue participating in future MTCP Alumni get-together events.
