On 24 April 2026, the Sistem Pentadbiran Kerajaan Malaysia di Luar Negeri (SPKM) Meeting No. 1/2026 was held at the MATRADE Office in Almaty.
SPKM Meeting is a vital coordination mechanism that ensures seamless governance and unified strategic direction across all Malaysian givernment agencies abroad. The meeting serves to strengthen coordination among agencies and enhance administative efficiency, and ensure that Malaysia's missions effectively advance national interests in political, economic and consular spheres.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli Abdullah and attended by representatives from the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana, MATRADE, and Tourism Malaysia, all based in Almaty.
