The Auditor-General's Department conducted a 2-day audit visit to the Embassy of Malaysia, Almaty. The team led by Dato' Mustafa Hj. Saman, Director for Federal Goverment Audit Sector, Social & Security Division and accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Zainurin Alias, Ms. Mona Othman and Ms. Normah Alias audited the Embassy's financial, administrative and operational practices.
The Audit team expressed their satisfactory towards the Embassy compliance although there are areas that needed to be improved. Dato' Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the assessment and reassured the Auditor-General's Office that the Embassy will work hard to ensure better compliancy.
