On 4 September 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Astana had the pleasure of receiving a courtesy visit from a group of Malaysian riders under the Adventure Touring Malaysia (ATM) initiative, who are currently on their Eurasia Friendship Ride 2025 expedition.
The delegation was received by H.E. Ambassador Mohd Adli bin Abdullah, who also took the opportunity to flag off the group as they continued their journey across Eurasia.
The 102-day overland expedition, which began on 15 July 2025 and will conclude on 24 October 2025, covers nine countries: Thailand, Laos, China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
