YB Datuk Rosnah Abd. Rashid Shirlin, Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia visited Kazakhstan on 29 September - 1 October 2011 for the Third Islamic Conference of Ministers of Health that was held at the Palace of Independence, Astana.
YB Datuk Rosnah Abd. Rashid Shirlin also had the opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Her Excellency Salidat Kairbekova, Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, YB Datuk Rosnah visited Karanganda to see health opportunities in that region. YB Datuk Rosnah was accompanied by H.E. Dato' Ahmad Rasidi Hazizi during her entire visit.
