His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN and Spouse hosted ‘Perjumpaan 1Malaysia’ for the second quarter of the year on Saturday, 1 June 2013 at the Malaysian Embassy in Beirut. The event was attended by more than 40 Malaysians including several expatriates working for YTL Power Services and Malaysian troops serving in the UNIFIL.
The main objective of the event was to exchange views on the security developments in Lebanon especially with the increasing number of security incidents in Beirut, Tripoli and southern part of Lebanon.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the attendees for their presence and hoped that the event could strengthen the camaraderie among the Malaysians. All the attendees were served with various Malaysian as well as local dishes and delicacies.
