Courtesy Call by the Director of Tourism Malaysia, Jeddah
On 10 January 2012, His Excellency Ambassador Ilango Karuppannan received a courtesy call by Mr. Ahmad Yahaya Al-Jahsyi, Director of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia) who is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Ahmad Yahaya was accompanied by Mr. Shamsul Mohamed Hassan, Tourism Attaché.
During the meeting, both H.E. Ambassador and Tourism Malaysia’s Director discussed on the nature of tourism arrivals to Malaysia, particularly from the Middle East region. The discussion also touched on strategies that Tourism Malaysia has adapted to encourage more tourists to visit Malaysia. Both sides also exchanged views on the possible strategies to attract more Lebanese tourists to visit Malaysia.
