Mr Johan Arief Jaafar, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut, Lebanon, joined the delegation of KHOM-Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission Malaysia in distributing 80 food aid boxes to Palestinian refugees at the Bourj el-Barajneh camp in Beirut.
Each box contains essential staples, including rice, cooking oil, pasta, flour, tea, and salt, along with protein sources such as lentils, chickpeas, beans, canned meat, and sardines. The boxes also include dates, white flour and traditional halwa, a meaningful reminder of home for many refugee families.
The programme, led by Mrs Nik Marina Datuk Hussin and their delegation from Karisma Humanitarian Outreach Mission (KHOM) Malaysia, reflects its ongoing and consistent humanitarian work in Lebanon.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Beirut was also honoured to be alongside KHOM Malaysia on the ground, engaging directly with families at the Bourj el-Barajneh camp and witnessing the impact of this contribution firsthand.
Through close cooperation between KHOM Malaysia and the Embassy, this initiative demonstrates Malaysia’s unwavering solidarity and shared commitment to delivering hope and meaningful support to Palestinian refugees.
