On Thursday, 14 March 2013 His Excellency Ambassador ILANGO KARUPPANNAN met with Ambassador Charbel Wehbe, Director of Political and Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon at the latter’s office in Beirut.
The discussion touched on various issues including bilateral relations, security situation in Lebanon and the region, the impact of the Syrian crisis in Lebanon as well as the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon and Malaysia. Both sides expressed happiness at the excellent state of relations and agreed on the need to further strengthen the relations particularly on promoting high level visits.
